Photo: Fall 2025 Intern, Mammalogy Major: Psychology Anticipated Year of Graduation: 2027 What collections are you working with: Mammalogy Who is your staff/faculty mentor: Nicole Pontzer What are your interests (academic & otherwise): I am interested in working with mammals in the future, specifically marine mammals. I am also interested in educational psychology and geology! Aside from academics, I love to read, hike, and I'm always searching for the best coffee shops. What are you doing with your collection during your internship: During my internship, we will be cataloging, shelving, and stabilizing specimens, along with assisting with the move of several collections during the museum's renovations. What made you want to do an internship with GMNH: I applied for the internship after visiting GMNH with a friend during the summer of 2024. We got to meet and speak to Dr. Reitz, who showed us a few specimens from her Zooarchaeology collection. She told me about the internship and inspired me to apply!
