Major: Anthropology and English

Anticipated Year of Graduation: 2027

Faculty/Staff Mentor: Dr. Laurie Reitsema (Spring 2025) and Dr. Victor Thompson (Fall 2025)

Interests: I am very interested in work related to museums, and more specifically, natural history museums and research regarding bioarchaeological collections. In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, making art, and doing puzzles.

What are you doing with your collection: This semester, I'll be helping rehouse and eventually catalogue some of the zooarchaeology collection, as lots of big changes occur at the museum!

What made you want to do an internship with GMNH: I've always loved visiting museums, especially as a kid, so wanting to work in one was a natural progression for me. When I heard about the GMNH Internship program, I immediately knew it was something I wanted to do. This internship allows me a sneak peek at some of the internal mechanisms of cataloguing and curation work that make a museum run.
